FIREFIGHTER SURVIVAL SCHOOL

When things go wrong on the fire ground, there is typically little to no warning. Firefighters must be able to read and react in an instant, to save themselves, and/or one of their fellow firefighters.

Built on experience, not on gimmicks, Survival School has been designed to both develop new skills, as well as enhance the student's current skill level. Utilizing street proven techniques, along with data driven information, this training is a must to survive when things go wrong.

During the 2-day intensive training, students will learn to work on the following skills and scenarios, under live fire conditions:

• Entanglement Hazards

• Bailouts

• Emergency Egress

• Drags and Removals for Downed Firefighters

• Mayday Operations

• Survival Obstacle Course

• Decision Making

• Breathing Techniques

• Teamwork Under Live Fire Conditions

• Searching for Missing Members

• Communication

• TIC

Firefighter Survival School has secured a discounted block of rooms at the La Quinta by Wyndham. They are offering King Rooms and King Rooms with sofa beds. The price is $115.00 + 17% taxes. The hotel provides a free breakfast buffet daily. The link will be available for us to send on Thursday.

Firefighter Survival School will be limiting attendance to 75. Once we are booked, we will begin a waiting list. Full refunds will be offered for cancellations up to 45 days prior to the event. (Friday, August 21st)

THE REGISTRATION FEE FOR FIREFIGHTER SURVIVAL SCHOOL IS $299.00

A final letter will be emailed to all students 30 days prior to the event, with any changes or updates.

All students need to bring the following:

• Full Gear

• SCBA with an extra cylinder

• NO SHORTS DURING LIVE FIRE TRAINING
